The NDU Library has a subscription to the Copyright Clearance Center. Through this subscription, the NDU Library purchases copyright permissions in bulk for large portions of its collections.
Faculty can check copyright permissions for specific books, ebooks, and articles by searching the Copyright Clearance Center's Rightfind Academic service. The Rightfind Academic How-To Video Tutorial has more information about using this service.
For personalized assistance, use Ask A Librarian to schedule an appointment. A librarian will work with you to review your syllabus, check copyright permissions for each assigned reading, and provide links to resources where available. Librarians can also provide guidance on Fair Use exceptions to copyright law.
